Job summary

The Little Gym of Dunwoody is seeking a part-time instructor to lead Parent/Child and PreK classes. You will run high-energy, structured classes for toddlers and their parents and guide preschoolers through beginner gymnastics skills, keeping the room safe, organized, and fun.

Training is provided; experience with young children is preferred. Flexible evening and Saturday shifts offered with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or leading groups of young children (preschool, classroom, coaching, camp, or similar).
• Comfortable leading a room that includes adults: calm, clear, and in charge.
• Organized and dependable: you show up prepared, on time, and ready to follow a lesson plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead Parent/Child classes (babies and toddlers with a parent) and PreK classes (preschoolers) using our established curriculum.
• Guide parents during class: explain the purpose behind each activity and give them ideas to try at home.
• Manage pacing, transitions, and group behavior so every child stays engaged and safe.
• Build relationships with families: learn names, share progress, and be a confident, welcoming face for the gym.
• Support birthday parties and special events as needed.
