Job summary

The Little Gym of Dunwoody is seeking a part-time instructor to lead Parent/Child and PreK classes with our established curriculum. You will be a lead teacher, guiding toddlers and their parents through high-energy, structured activities while keeping the room safe and fun.

You'll build strong relationships with families, explain activity goals, and help children develop confidence in a supportive gym environment. Training is provided and room for growth exists.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or leading groups of young children.
• Calm, clear, and in charge when leading a room with adults.
• Organized and dependable; you show up prepared and on time.
• Warm, patient, and upbeat with little kids.
• Gymnastics experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Availability weekday evenings and Saturdays (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead Parent/Child classes (babies/toddlers with a parent) and PreK classes using our established curriculum.
• Guide parents during class and share ideas to try at home.
• Manage pacing, transitions, and group behavior to keep children engaged and safe.
• Build relationships with families: learn names, share progress, be a welcoming face for the gym.
• Support birthday parties and special events as needed.

The Little Gym of Dunwoody is hiring a part-time instructor to lead our Parent/Child and PreK classes. This is a lead teaching role: you'll run structured, high-energy classes for toddlers and their parents, then guide preschoolers through their first gymnastics skills, keeping the room safe, organized, and fun.

Schedule

• Weekday evenings (approx. 3:30–7:00 pm)
• Saturdays, all day
• Consistent part-time hours, same shifts each week

What You'll Do

• Lead Parent/Child classes (babies and toddlers with a parent) and PreK classes (preschoolers) using our established curriculum
• Guide parents during class: explain the purpose behind each activity and give them ideas to try at home
• Manage pacing, transitions, and group behavior so every child stays engaged and safe
• Build relationships with families: learn names, share progress, and be a confident, welcoming face for the gym
• Support birthday parties and special events as needed

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching or leading groups of young children (preschool, classroom, coaching, camp, or similar)
• Comfortable leading a room that includes adults: calm, clear, and in charge
• Organized and dependable: you show up prepared, on time, and ready to follow a lesson plan
• Warm, patient, and upbeat with little kids
• Gymnastics experience is a plus, not a requirement. We'll train you.
• Availability weekday evenings and Saturdays (required)
