Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Coaching Manager (internally titled Lead Guide) to build and lead a team that supports a non-traditional K-12 model focused on coaching and life-skill development. You will drive campus launch, mentor Guides, and cultivate an environment of excellence across multiple campuses.

The role emphasizes coaching over traditional instruction, using data and conversations to raise student outcomes and ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, or leadership.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or coaching settings.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead life-skills workshops developing communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Use data and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
