Job summary

Nashville Rescue Mission is seeking a full-time Lead Guest Security / Support Specialist 3 to join the Men’s Guest Services team. The role focuses on safety, hospitality, and compassionate care for guests as the Mission shares its faith.

You’ll be alert, calm, and able to de-escalate disruptions while coordinating with supervisors and community responders. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to serve guests with love.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security guard certification or associate licensure a plus.
• Driver’s license with clean record desirable.
• Ability to interact hospitably with guests, staff and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest assistance with hospitality at all times.
• Maintain safe, secure lobby area and monitor for security issues.
• Assist case managers with guest intake when available.
• Record incidents using the incident reporting system.
• Direct others in emergencies or dangerous situations.
• Lead weekly walk-throughs to check facility repairs.
• Share the Gospel and model Christ-like character.
