Job summary

Tioga Downs is seeking a Lead Guest Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Nichols, NY. You will supervise Guest Room Attendants, ensure rooms and public areas meet hotel standards, and deliver exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a fast-paced team, while maintaining accuracy and high cleanliness standards across rooms and spaces.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to train, direct, and support Guest Room Attendants.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Guest Room Attendants and provide training, guidance, and support.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for Guest Room Attendants during shifts.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of housekeeping storerooms and ensure shelves are organized.
• Replenish housekeeping and storeroom supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance problems and submit repair orders.
• Assist with Houseman duties and cleaning of public areas.
• Support Sales and Food & Beverage with event cleanup and breakdowns.
