Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking an on-site Grounds Supervisor to lead a small crew across up to 25 campuses. You will assign daily tasks, oversee landscaping and athletic field maintenance, and operate common grounds equipment while ensuring safety and compliance with district standards.

The role requires strong leadership, practical grounds maintenance knowledge, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Valid driver’s license and availability for on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience directing daily grounds maintenance work preferred.
• Knowledge of general grounds, landscaping, and athletic field maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a grounds crew of 1–5 employees across multiple campuses.
• Assign, schedule, and review daily grounds maintenance work.
• Operate and perform routine care of mowers, trimmers, saws, and related equipment.
• Monitor safety practices and report concerns to supervisor.
