Job summary

Montgomery College, Germantown seeks a Grounds Maintenance Worker Lead to oversee a crew and manage daily tasks on a Monday–Friday schedule. The role requires hands-on leadership in campus grounds maintenance and operation of lawn equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of hands-on lead experience in commercial grounds maintenance.
• Experience operating lawn equipment and maintaining plants, trees, and shrubs.
• Valid Class C driver's license with any required endorsements.
• Equivalent education/training/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and instruction to assigned staff.
• Receive and delegate work assignments and review work.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance including graffiti/trash removal and debris cleanup.
