Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in horticulture, landscape management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in grounds maintenance or landscaping, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor grounds staff, provide guidance and development feedback.
• Oversee landscaped areas and ensure adherence to design specs; participate in hands-on tasks as needed.
• Design, install, and maintain irrigation systems; regularly test for efficiency.
• Identify pests and plant diseases; implement integrated pest management and treatment plans.
• Order landscape supplies and manage inventory to ensure availability.
• Create and manage staff work schedules and assign daily activities.
• Maintain records of maintenance, pest control, and inventory; prepare reports for management.
• Ensure operations comply with safety standards and conduct safety training.
