MPI seeks a hands-on Multifamily Construction Superintendent to lead field operations of a ground-up multifamily development in Garfield, New Jersey. Ideal for a proven construction leader who has delivered large-scale wood-frame multifamily projects and thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities include on-site supervision from groundbreaking to turnover, schedule management, team leadership, safety compliance, quality control, and thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction leadership experience
• Proven track record delivering ground-up wood-frame multifamily projects

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for a ground-up multifamily development from groundbreaking through final turnover.
• Manage day-to-day field operations to keep the project on schedule and within budget while meeting quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and utility providers across the construction lifecycle.
• Oversee site logistics, sequencing, safety compliance, and productivity of all trades.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, daily reports, punch lists, and progress updates.
