Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in the Carolinas. You will oversee ground-up construction from preconstruction through completion, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with Owners, Architects, Designers, and subcontractors.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, contracts, schedules and change orders.
• Lead project teams across one large project or multiple smaller projects.
• Coordinate Owners, Architects, Designers, Subcontractors and internal teams.
• Run project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Manage project documentation and accounting processes.
• Review and coordinate MEP systems throughout the project.
• Oversee construction in occupied buildings where required.
• Maintain a high standard of quality across all project phases.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and training to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and other team members.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget requirements.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
