Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Senior Manager, Distribution Engineering (Metro West) to lead a high-performing team delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused grid solutions across the Los Angeles area.

You will drive strategic execution, risk management, and workforce development while coordinating across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Construction, Environmental Services, Permitting, and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of leadership experience overseeing engineers and teams.
• Experience in operations, production, construction, or maintenance within a utility context.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and business initiatives to develop grid strategies and execution plans.
• Manage and prioritize the engineering roadmap across departments; develop strategies to improve execution efficiency.
• Lead, manage and support the project engineering group and ensure delivery of capital and strategic projects.
• Oversee resource allocation, risk assessment, budgets, and on-time project delivery.
