Job summary

The ideal candidate has NIH grants experience, excellent communication, and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple processes within financial administration as applicable to grants and contracts.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• (People Managers only) Some experience managing or mentoring people.
• Proven performance in earlier role.

Responsibilities

• Manage/lead grants and sponsored program operations through planning and resources.
• Review proposal documents including budgets and monitoring subawards and award lifecycle.
• Support grant-related activities including proposal preparation and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop, prepare, revise, and finalize project budgets with justifications.
• Coordinate with principal investigators and research teams to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Review award progress and monitor changes to ensure allowability of expenditures.
• Lead process improvement by developing SOPs, policies, and systems for efficient delivery.
• Mentor team members and provide coaching and training where applicable.
• Perform other duties to meet department and institutional goals.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
