Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, upcoming graduates welcome.
• Some experience with grants and sponsored program administration and related regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of grants and sponsored programs (e.g., preparation and review of proposal documents including budget, monitoring of subawards, award lifecycle management), under some supervision.
• Read, interpret and apply federal and other sponsor guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements to support investigators and other relevant teams.
• Coordinate with research teams and sponsor institutions to support in issue resolution.
• Assist in negotiating standard terms & conditions associated with basic non-industrial sponsored research agreements to ensure consistency with institutional policies.
• Provide support to develop, prepare, revise, and finalize project budgets and provide budget justifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
