City of Houston is seeking a Division Manager for Grant Accounting to lead a five-person team responsible for grant accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio around $1 billion. The role requires overseeing balance-sheet reconciliations, grant revenue/expenditure analyses, budgeting, and SEFA reporting, while coordinating with SAP and the Finance Department.

The selected candidate will respond to grant inquiries, maintain procurement and expenditure records, and ensure SOP documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or related field.
• Seven years of progressive professional experience in grant accounting or related area.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead grant accounting and financial reporting for a grant portfolio (~$1B).
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and grant analyses.
• Oversee budgeting, grant closeout, and SEFA reporting processes.
• Coordinate with Grants Management and SAP for set-up and reimbursements.
