FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY in Sioux Center, IA, is seeking a Lead Grain Operations Specialist to oversee daily grain handling and lead a team in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. You will manage receiving, drying, and loading while ensuring safety and quality.

The role combines hands-on operation with leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities include equipment operation, maintenance, and inventory control, plus training staff on safety and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Seasonal, fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Mechanical, electrical, or welding skills welcomed.
• Experience in agriculture, grain operations, or industrial settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily grain receiving, drying, conditioning, and loading operations.
• Operate conveyors, dryers, aeration and related equipment.
• Maintain grain quality through testing, storage, and inventory control.
• Provide day-to-day direction to grain handling staff and safety training.
• Coordinate workflow during harvest and peak seasons to maximize efficiency.
