Farmers Co-op Society seeks a hands-on Grain Operations Specialist to manage the grain handling system, from receiving to outbound loading. You will monitor quality, perform daily equipment checks, and work with trucks and conveyors to ensure safe, efficient flow.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and dependable performance in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. CDL or willingness to earn one is a plus, with opportunities for growth within the cooperative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in agriculture, grain operations, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, or welding skills.
• CDL or the desire to earn one.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain handling equipment from receiving to outbound loading.
• Monitor grain quality and adjust to meet high standards.
• Move grain by truck only; no rail transportation.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Work with conveyors, bucket elevators, grain dryers, and other machinery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently running facility.
• Follow safety practices and OSHA/grain-regulation standards.
• Interact with local farmers and truck drivers to ensure fast, friendly service.
• Represent the cooperative with professionalism and pride.
