Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a GPS Machine Control General Foreman to lead a field crew on utility-scale solar projects. You will set up and troubleshoot GPS-enabled pile-driving equipment, ensure accuracy against plans, and coordinate with survey and quality teams.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with GPS-equipped pile drivers and machine-control systems.
Experience with Trimble GPS technology, especially Groundworks, is highly preferred.
Strong leadership and communication to manage field crews.
Ability to troubleshoot GPS equipment and machine-control issues.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee a crew supporting GPS-equipped pile drivers and pile installation operations.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Trimble Groundworks for pile-driving equipment.
Verify pile plans, project coordinates, and installation information before production begins.
Coordinate with survey and quality teams to check pile location, orientation, and embedment against tolerances.
Perform machine setup and calibration checks, including antenna offsets and mast alignment.
