Job summary

CoVolt Power AHV seeks a GPS Machine Control General Foreman to oversee GPS-enabled pile drivers on a utility-scale solar site. You will lead the crew, calibrate Trimble Groundworks systems, verify pile plans and elevations, and provide on-site troubleshooting and repairs to maintain accuracy and safety.

This field-focused role requires hands-on Texas outdoor work, strong leadership, and collaboration with survey, equipment, and civil teams to meet project tolerances and schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous General Foreman or Foreman experience in solar construction or civil projects.
• Hands-on experience with GPS-equipped pile drivers and machine-positioning troubleshooting.
• Experience with Trimble Groundworks for pile-driving applications preferred.
• Knowledge of pile plans, coordinates, site control, tolerances, and embedment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew supporting GPS-equipped pile drivers and earthmoving tasks.
• Set up and troubleshoot Trimble Groundworks and related GPS systems.
• Verify pile plans, coordinates, elevations, and installers per project documents.
• Calibrate antenna offsets, mast alignment, and sensor positions per procedure.
• Monitor GPS corrections, RTK status, and field data for accuracy.
• Coordinate with survey, quality, and equipment teams to resolve field issues.
• Perform minor GPS repairs and component replacements as needed.
• Lead daily work activities and safety meetings.
