Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Google Workspace Platform Engineer to own administration, governance, and security across Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Groups, and Shared Drives. You will configure governance, support integrations, and automate tasks while safeguarding data and compliance across the technology estate.

You will also evaluate and enable Workspace AI capabilities such as Gemini, ensuring safe, well-governed deployment aligned to Nscale’s collaboration strategy and SOC2/ISO controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering Google Workspace in production environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Groups, Shared Drives.
• Experience configuring Workspace security and governance controls.
• Scripting or automation using Google APIs, Apps Script, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own Google Workspace administration, escalations, and configuration across core services.
• Define and maintain standards for configuration, sharing, lifecycle management, admin access, licensing, and architecture.
• Configure and maintain security controls, audit logging, and data-protection settings.
• Support integrations between Workspace and security, compliance, and collaboration tools.
• Automate repetitive administration, reporting, and lifecycle tasks; build dashboards and runbooks.
• Test and roll out new Workspace capabilities including Gemini with proper governance.
