Job summary

The Landings Golf and Athletic Club on Skidaway Island, 12 miles from historic Savannah, is seeking a Lead Assistant Golf Professional to supervise staff, oversee staffing, and maintain golf operations to club standards.

The role requires PGA/LPGA Apprentice or Member, strong leadership, and exceptional guest service; you will lead daily huddles, manage tee sheets, participate in events, and mentor team members to elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Professional level written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and coach staff with a focus on guest experience.
• Knowledge of golf operations and budgeting basics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and evaluate staff including starters, outside service attendants and assistants.
• Oversee staffing the golf operations including recruiting, hiring, and training.
• Oversee development and oversight of work schedules and daily duties for golf operations.
• Lead daily huddle meetings and assist Head Golf Professional as needed.
• Manage tee sheets, guest check-in and fee collection; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
