Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking Guidance Navigation & Control Engineers (Experienced, Lead, Senior) to join our ESG team in Seal Beach, CA. You will design GN&C algorithms, build fidelity simulations, test flight software, and support integration and flight testing for space missions.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or related field required.
Active Tier 5 clearance (SSBI) required.
5+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
Engineering experience with spacecraft.
Experience using MATLAB and Simulink.
Experience developing GN&C algorithms, models and simulations.

Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and verifies guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for spacecraft.
Develops and maintains 6-DOF dynamics simulations and analysis tools for mission and performance assessment.
Implements and validates GN&C flight software (MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ prototypes) and integrates with testbeds and avionics.
Applies astrodynamics and flight mechanics to mission design and trajectory optimization.
Develops guidance laws and autonomy tools for on-orbit operations.
Supports troubleshooting of operational anomalies and test procedures.
