Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks a Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineer (mid-level or lead) to own the GNC subsystem for satellite programs. You’ll lead design, analysis, software, and integration, acting as REA for delivery and mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Required: bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in GNC, 3+ years spacecraft experience, and ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years' related work experience in GNC or equivalent.
• 3+ years of spacecraft system level experience.
• 1+ years collaborating with other engineering subsystems and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the GNC subsystem (hardware, software, and analysis) for a satellite program.
• Perform GNC design, analysis, software development, and component selection to meet requirements.
• Manage development of GNC products within program cost and schedule constraints.
• Report technical progress to leadership and track/mitigate risk.
• Interface with other subsystems and systems engineering to ensure performance.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of GNC engineers.
