Job summary

Walters & Wolf Glass in Fremont, CA seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee glass construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage contracts, costs, schedules, and cross‑department coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in glass construction, strong reading of estimates and drawings, and proven shop drawing coordination abilities, along with proficient use of Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Glass Construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret project estimates, bid documents, specifications, manuals, drawings.
• Experience managing shop drawings, submittals, and coordination across multiple trades.
• Strong organizational, financial forecasting, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee glass construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Ensure accurate contract execution, financial oversight, and proactive communication with contractors and internal teams.
• Coordinate across departments and lead weekly planning and review for schedules and costs.
• Review shop drawings, estimates, and specifications for compliance and accuracy.
• Support procurement, submittals, RFIs, and change order processes with the project team.
