St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners seeks an Utility Technology Supervisor to lead the GIS and Technology team, including cyber and physical security and SCADA administration.

The role requires a strong IT/cybersecurity background, supervisory experience, and the ability to coordinate with federal and local agencies. The department HQ is in St. Augustine, FL, and duties include budget oversight and staff development.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Supervisory experience of at least four years.
• County training or equivalent program completion for Utility IT/Technology.
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to operate in county facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Directs, supervises, evaluates and plans GIS and TECHNOLOGY staff work.
• Monitor cybersecurity practices and disaster recovery planning.
• Oversee SCADA network security, installation, maintenance and upgrades.
• Coordinate with agencies on best practices and security policy.
• Recruit, train and evaluate staff; manage budget and expenditures.
• Assist with contracts, vendor management and 24/7 operations.
