Devon Energy Corp. seeks a Senior GIS Professional to lead complex GIS initiatives, integrate AI into geospatial workflows, and ensure high data quality. You will develop spatial models, manage map services, and collaborate across teams to enable informed decision-making.

You will guide data governance, mentor staff, and drive innovative GIS capabilities while keeping maps accurate and up-to-date across enterprise systems. Effective communication and problem-solving are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; commensurate work experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of relevant geospatial experience (data management, remote sensing, cartography, seismic data analysis).
• Experience applying AI, ML, or automation to geospatial workflows preferred.
• GISP or Geospatial Intelligence Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead AI strategy for GIS by prototyping and implementing AI, ML, and automation use cases.
• Establish responsible AI practices including data governance, security, and validation of outputs.
• Mentor GIS staff and business users to apply AI tools and automation.
• Coordinate GIS enterprise map services and web applications with business units.
• Develop workflows, perform geoprocessing, and provide end-user GIS training and support.
• Interact with GIS software and geospatial databases, using programming where needed.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate map representations across systems.
• Research basemap data and lead project development with workshops on web mapping.
