Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Lead GI Technician to supervise the Endoscopic Suite, assist GI Techs, and ensure sterile processing while supporting patient care across shifts.

You will coordinate staff, training, and compliance, maintain logs and inventories, oversee instrument processing, and help maintain accreditation standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BCLS/ACLS Certification (renewed every two years) required.
• Central Service Department experience preferred.
• Minimum two years in Endoscopic Suite; at least 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist GI Technicians and supervise department staff.
• Counsel and coach team; manage staffing, training, and scheduling.
• Maintain accreditation logs, infection control records, and incident reports.
• Prepare, decontaminate, and sterilize GI instruments and scopes; ensure aseptic technique.
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment for GI procedures and turnovers.
