Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Hoffman Estates seeks an experienced GI room technician to support surgical procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered team. You will help ensure the availability of instrumentation and supplies for GI procedures, maintain sterile technique, and assist with turnovers and decontamination to support safe patient care.

The role offers full-time hours, with a schedule of 6:30am-3pm, Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BCLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopic Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Care and treatment of patients in the GI room under supervision.
• Ensure instrumentation and supplies are ready for procedures.
• Set up and turnover GI room; maintain sterile technique.
• Decontaminate GI scopes and equipment; follow universal precautions.
• Report unusual conditions to the RN.
• Maintain instrument sets and stock levels.
