Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Geospatial Project Manager to lead delivery from award through closeout on existing and new accounts. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, technical direction, and quality across LiDAR, photogrammetry, and GIS efforts.

This role requires strong client management, excellent communication, and proven ability to mentor staff. Some travel and business development support are expected as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geography, GIS, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in geospatial project delivery with prior project management responsibility.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, project locations, and industry events as needed.
• Professional licensure or certification (PLS, GISP, or equivalent) a plus.
• Must be able to work without employer-sponsored work visa support.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from award through closeout on existing accounts and newly won work.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, technical direction, and quality control.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage expectations and communication throughout delivery.
• Coordinate LiDAR, photogrammetry, and GIS production teams to staff and execute projects.
• Dedicate roughly a quarter of time to business development, including identifying opportunities and pursuing new work.
• Mentor project staff and support technical and professional development.
