Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Product Definition Engineer to join the PDE team in Greenville, SC. You will assemble Gas Turbine CAD models, integrate designs from Compressor, Combustion, and Turbine modules, and support design in context and interface management.

You will work with design engineering and manufacturing, apply Lean methods, and contribute to standard work and continuous improvement. The role offers mentorship, growth, and exposure to enterprise challenges across the Gas Turbine

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or STEM from an accredited institution.
• Experience with CAD platforms (NX or similar) used for turbine assemblies.
• Familiarity with PLM systems such as ENOVIA or Teamcenter.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies including 2D cross sections and 3D models.
• Support tolerance stack-ups, data formats, and interfacing with manufacturing and inspection.
• Apply Lean principles and standard work to improve processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering and manufacturing to solve complex problems.
• Assist in maintaining system performance and lifecycle documentation.
