This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, scheduled for 40 hours per week. We value growth, this role offers bonus potential and room to grow within the organization.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Generator at Wound Care Advantage (WCA) is responsible for generating and managing qualified business opportunities by identifying, sourcing, and engaging potential healthcare partners. This role plays a critical part in the early stages of the sales process by creating and nurturing leads that align with WCA’s wound care service model. The Lead Generator will manage new lead activities, including cold outreach and follow-up on inbound inquiries, and work collaboratively with the sales team to move prospects through the sales pipeline. Success in this role requires strong judgment, persistence, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments to support overall business development goals.

KEY JOB AREA: TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with the sales team to develop and execute lead generation strategies targeting hospitals and outpatient healthcare organizations.
  • Research and identify potential leads via WCA campaigns, referrals, cold outreach, and healthcare databases. As well as organizing and appropriately responding to presented leads.
  • Assess lead suitability based on predefined WCA criteria including service needs, program models, and geographic fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls between qualified prospects and the sales team to ensure seamless handoff and continued alignment throughout the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate lead records and activity logs in the sales CRM (calls, emails, meetings).
  • Collaborate with Marketing on outreach campaigns.
  • Prepare reports tracking lead performance and conversion trends.
  • Conduct initial due diligence on all leads to ensure compatibility with WCA’s mission, operational standards, and strategic goals.
  • Maintain relationships with prospective partners until handoff or disqualification.
  • Participate in strategic discussions regarding market trends and business development opportunities, with the ability to communicate results to the C-Suite.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities in order to engage with potential clients and C-suite contacts.
  • Experience in healthcare business development, provider networks, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with the healthcare system, particularly outpatient wound care or hospital services preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and a desire to contribute to the sales pipeline.
  • Self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.
  • Proficient with electronic documentation, Google Workspace and developing activity reports.
  • Ability to research target markets and analyze lead data.
  • Available for minimal travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal teams, including C-Suite.
