Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Lead Applied Scientist for Prime Video to drive Generative AI initiatives in video creation and delivery. You will own end-to-end research, experiments, and production-ready systems at Amazon scale.

Lead research in computer vision, multimedia understanding, and GenAI; advance diffusion/flow-based methods and multimodal workflows for controllable synthesis across images and video. You will mentor teams and collaborate with product partners across devices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product journey, research and experimentation for computer vision, multimedia understanding and Generative AI.
• Lead research and develop generative models for controllable synthesis across images, video, vector graphics, and multimedia.
• Innovate in diffusion and flow-based methods to improve efficiency, controllability, and scalability.
• Design multimodal GenAI workflows including visual-language model tooling and prompt orchestration.
