Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Generative AI in Minneapolis for a 9-month engagement. You will drive enterprise GenAI initiatives, architect and deploy AI solutions, and lead design across LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI.

The role demands hands-on expertise with Vertex AI, Document AI, and Python backend services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise GenAI applications.
• Hands-on with RAG architectures and LLM fine-tuning.
• Experience with Docker and cloud deployments.
• Backend/API development in Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Develop and deploy LLM-based applications using Vertex AI and other LLM platforms.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
• Implement LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop document processing solutions using Google Document AI, OCR, information extraction, and structured output generation.
• Build AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph, Google ADK, and CrewAI.
• Work with OpenAI APIs, open-source LLMs, and commercial LLM platforms.
• Apply machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and NLP.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, Flask, and REST APIs.
• Deploy and manage AI applications using Docker and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
