Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Hopeworks

The primary focus of the Lead Generation Specialist is to develop, execute, and optimize targeted strategies that generate qualified sales leads and build a robust pipeline for Hopeworks Social Enterprises.

This role requires a seasoned lead generation professional with deep experience in outbound prospecting, CRM tools, and campaign management. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and a track record of creating and converting leads that drive revenue.

This is a high-impact position focused exclusively on lead generation and top-of-funnel activity—ideal for a results-driven professional ready to lead and innovate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Specific tasks include:

  • Identify and research prospective clients through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry directories, business associations, and other digital tools.
  • Qualify leads based on ideal customer profiles (ICP), segmenting and scoring prospects for handoff to Sales teams.
  • Build and maintain structured lead databases and outreach cadences in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Analyze outreach performance and optimize based on open rates, response rates, and conversion data.
  • Stay updated on sales technology trends, market shifts, and competitor offerings.
  • Track performance metrics and report weekly lead generation activity and outcomes.
  • Ensure seamless lead transitions and support the sales team with background and insights on qualified leads.
  • Create and help deploy lead-gen marketing materials and content
  • Organize and maintain outreach metrics, follow-up tasks, and track sales performance.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys, compile testimonials, and support retention efforts.
  • Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking.
  • Research target markets and identify key decision-makers and potential prospects.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and ensure a steady flow of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and follow up on inbound leads.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B lead generation, business development, or outbound sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently create and manage high-performing lead generation campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales prospecting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with a detail-oriented, data-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite, Zoom, and project management platforms.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, exceed KPIs, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, including participation in in-person events and content capture when needed.

Key Performance Measures:

  • Lead Generation Activity– Number and quality of leads added weekly through outreach and research.
  • CRM Data Accuracy– Timely updates and clean records for leads and client communications.
  • Campaign Effectiveness– Open, response, and conversion rates from outreach efforts.
  • Sales Impact– From leads generated, sales revenue of $250,000 / year across businesses.
  • Client Engagement– Number of surveys, check-ins, and testimonials collected.

Compensation - Base Pay and Scale

Base:$70,000 – $80,000

  • Performance Incentives:$500 for every lead generated that is closed-won. Additional performance bonuses may be available for exceeding quarterly goals.
