Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services is seeking a General Superintendent to lead the field on a multi-million dollar project, directing a team of superintendents to ensure safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate trade contractors, manage general conditions costs, develop field work plans, and enforce the project safety plan while maintaining good relations with owners and unions. A strong background in commercial/industrial construction is required.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience on a large commercial/industrial construction project or multiple projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30 hour certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and subs to meet the project schedule and quality standards.
• Manages the project budget for general conditions and site services and forecasts costs.
• Develops, documents and communicates the work plan for field changes and contingencies.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems and plan ahead.
• Leads contractor meetings and coordinates project team communications.
• Creates and updates the project schedule and implements contingency plans as needed.
