Job summary

Rimkus, a global leader in engineering and technical consulting, seeks a Manager of General Ledger & Corporate Accounting in Houston. This hands-on leadership role manages the general ledger, close processes, and internal controls, while driving ERP transformation and process improvements across multiple entities.

You will partner with senior finance leadership, mentor accounting staff, and contribute to audits, financial reporting, and cross‑functional initiatives essential to a PE-backed,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee journal entries including accruals, prepaid expenses, payroll entries, fixed assets, intercompany activity.
• Support consolidated financial reporting across entities and locations.
• Partner with regional teams to ensure consistent accounting treatment.
