Job summary

MGM Resorts International's Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas seeks a Lead General Engineer to oversee multi-trade maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building systems, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

You will mentor Engineers and Laborers, coordinate work orders, and participate as MOD when needed, with starting rate $41.70 per hour and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a maintenance Engineer.
• Advanced hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize work orders for Engineers and Laborers across multiple trades.
• Diagnose and resolve escalated maintenance challenges.
• Oversee completion of work orders and ensure timely repairs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when assigned and coordinate cross-department maintenance activities.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
