Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure with experience using public cloud cost management tools
• Depth in hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, resilience, and performance assessments
• Proven experience leveraging GenAI and agentic AI to automate enterprise software delivery and cost optimization
• Hands-on experience implementing FinOps and GenAI agents to optimize AWS cloud costs
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proficient in coding with modern scripting languages and IaC practices
• Advanced understanding of AWS services for Compute, Containerization, and Serverless architectures
• Experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to support workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations for resiliency, security, and auditability

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and integration of GenAI-powered agents across the lifecycle to automate cost optimization
• Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities using GenAI models and data reporting tools
• Collaborate to design, implement, and scale GenAI agent-based recommendations
• Architect and develop automation runbooks and Policy as Code for cost governance
• Guide teams in adopting cost-effective architectural and performance decisions
• Communicate FinOps principles and GenAI capabilities to stakeholders with dashboards showing savings
• Serve as primary contact for FinOps GenAI applications and ensure compliance
• Utilize enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation
• Drive workstreams to modernize infrastructure technologies and processes
• Advise on upstream/downstream data implications and mitigation actions
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices ensuring traceability and security
