Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to drive GenAI/AI automation and AWS-based cost optimization within the Consumer and Community Banking team. You will apply strong infrastructure engineering knowledge to optimize data, systems, and capacity across scalable applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, enterprise AI capabilities, and rigorous validation of AI-assisted recommendations to meet resiliency and security standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, including cost management.
• Proven ability to leverage GenAI and agentic AI to automate enterprise software delivery and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope, focusing on data and systems at scale with end-to-end monitoring.
• Identify cloud cost optimization opportunities using GenAI models and intelligent agents.
• Collaborate to design, implement, and scale GenAI agent-based cost optimization recommendations.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities while ensuring data sensitivity and security.
• Escalate appropriately and drive remediation statuses for capacity risks.
• Support capacity processes and governance with multiple technologies.
• Make significant decisions affecting projects spanning several technologies.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring capacity risks and improve workflows.
