Delta Utilities is seeking a skilled crew lead to oversee gas distribution construction and maintenance. You will direct field teams, ensure safety practices, supervise pipe installation and repairs, and verify lines are located prior to excavation. Strong welding certification and CDL Class A are required for this role.

The position emphasizes leadership, on-site decision making, and adherence to DOT and company safety standards. Must be able to operate heavy equipment and train others.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, installation, and/or maintenance systems within natural gas distribution/natural gas transmission.

Aufgaben

• Lead and direct all gas distribution work for a construction crew.
• Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipes.
• Ensure that each crew member knows safety policies and practices, monitor for compliance, and coach in the field.
• Ensure gas lines and other utility lines are located prior to excavation.
• Ensure plastic and steel welding performed by crew members meets standards.
