Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP seeks a Lead Service Technician to manage maintenance on natural gas compression equipment and to mentor Field Service Technicians. You will work with the Area Service Manager to keep units running safely, efficiently, and per contract requirements.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to teach others, and willingness to travel up to 75% while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in gas compression, preference to CAT, Ariel and/or Cummins.
• CAT Gas Engine II, Troubleshooting, Electronics certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record acceptable to USA Compression.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Involved in start-ups, major maintenance, significant failures, overhauls, and high-end troubleshooting.
• Lead by example and mentor Field Service Technicians to build technical skills.
• Ensure USAC units run per contractual agreements and safety policies.
• Communicate with ASM and sales to identify new opportunities.
