The Lyon Center for Gamebird Research at East Texas A&M University invites a seasoned Gamebird Production Manager to lead our production program under the director. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure biosecurity, and align production with ongoing research goals to deliver top-quality gamebirds.

We seek a leader with poultry experience, strong communication, and a passion for gamebirds and conservation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years in poultry/gamebird industry; 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience producing quail preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day gamebird production operations.
• Develop and implement production SOPs.
• Monitor biosecurity and animal-use compliance.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff.
• Coordinate production with research goals and faculty.
