Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in game programming, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Expertise in C++ and object-oriented design principles.
  • Strong understanding of 3D math, physics engines, and graphics programming concepts.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for managing a remote team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of game programmers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Architect, design, and implement core game systems and engine features using C++ and other relevant languages.
  • Optimize game performance, memory usage, and stability across target platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and producers to translate creative vision into functional gameplay.
  • Drive best practices in code quality, testing, debugging, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
