Job summary

The role requires 6+ years in alternative investments, strong US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel; CPA/CFA/MBA preferred. Strong communication and leadership are essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with an alternative investment firm, public accounting firm or fund administrator.
• 3+ years of private equity/private credit fund accounting and operations.
• Knowledge of partnership accounting and closed-end fund structures.
• Experience with capital calls, distributions, management fees, carried interest and clawbacks.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement presentation.
• Experience with private investments such as PE, credit, real estate or infra.
• Experience with complex fund structures (master-feeders, parallel funds, warehouses).
• CPA, CFA or MBA completed or in progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly NAV and financial statement processes for funds.
• Review work by third-party fund administrators.
• Review complex private equity and private credit transactions.
• Review waterfall and carried interest calculations.
• Review management fee arrangements and IRR calculations.
• Coordinate capital calls and distributions; review calculations.
• Oversee fund fees, expenses, cash and capital management.
• Oversee annual audits with fund administrators and auditors.
• Support new fund launches and product development.
• Enhance accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; support cross-functional teams.
