Job summary

AXS is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack to lead the design and development of our core ticketing platforms. This role is suited for an engineer who thrives in a complex enterprise environment and is comfortable across diverse technologies and architectures.

You will build and scale consumer-facing and B2B web applications, owning the web platform across front-end experiences, back-end services, APIs, and data integrations for high-demand, global use cases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership.
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong experience with React/Next.js and frontend architecture patterns.
• Experience building scalable front-end platforms and design systems.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core for APIs supporting front-end apps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the web application platform end-to-end with focus on frontend architecture and UX.
• Lead design and evolution of modern frontend systems and APIs alongside backend services.
• Define platform standards for UI architecture, accessibility, performance, and scalability.
• Design scalable consumer-facing and B2B web apps for high-demand, global use cases.
• Balance hands-on development with planning, technical leadership, and team oversight.
• Align technical execution with product objectives and business goals.
• Guide frontend best practices and engineering standards across the team.
• Act as technical lead, driving delivery and continuous improvement.
• Optimize apps for performance, reliability, and cross-device responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Product/Design to deliver intuitive user experiences.
