Raymond James is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive enterprise application development in Wealth Management. This hands‑on technical leadership role requires deep Java/Spring Boot expertise and strong Angular experience, with mentoring responsibilities across the team.

The position follows a hybrid model, requiring in‑office presence in St. Petersburg, FL three days per week, and participation in production support as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with Java, Spring, and microservices.
• 5+ years of Angular/full stack development with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, object‑oriented design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL databases and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Angular.
• Own complex technical initiatives from design through production support.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code and design reviews.
• Champion CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding, code quality, and observability.
• Drive AI adoption across design, development, and automation to improve productivity.
