Job summary

Visionist, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a funded program on our largest PRIME contract.

You will integrate into a small engineering team, developing and maintaining full-stack web applications that support analytic and operational workflows, while expanding automation to improve efficiency and mission processes. You will collaborate with analysts, operators, and customers to gather requirements, break down complex tasks, and drive iterative delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 12 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Extensive experience with full-stack development, particularly Java and Angular JavaScript
• Experience working with non-relational databases
• Experience soliciting and incorporating customer feedback into software development
• Experience developing software in Linux environments
• Experience with AI-assisted development
• Experience leading software development teams and coordinating technical efforts

Responsibilities

• Lead a small development team focused on improving high-value operational workflows and delivering mission-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications that support analytic and operational workflows
• Expand existing workflow automation efforts to improve efficiency and streamline mission processes
• Develop and maintain backend analytics to support application functionality and mission requirements
• Work with non-relational databases to support application development and data management
• Collaborate with analysts, operators, developers, and customers to gather requirements and incorporate feedback
• Break down complex development efforts into actionable tasks, coordinate team responsibilities, and support iterative delivery through CI/CD workflows
