Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to join a team focused on developing reverse engineering tooling and scalable software for national security programs. The role emphasizes technical leadership, hands-on full-stack development, and coordinating between lab operations and cloud-based deployments.

The position is in-office in Arlington, VA with a future transition to Herndon, VA; travel to Herndon may be required and TS clearance with SCI eligibility is a prerequisite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead planning, task prioritization, and team direction.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, version control (Git), containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; willing to work 100% in person.
• In-person work at Arlington, VA with future transition to Herndon, VA; commute to both sites.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable applications in cloud (AWS/OpenStack).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead bridging goals and implementation for national security research programs.
• Break down deliverables into actionable tasks and oversee full-stack development from inception to deployment.
• Lead in-office technical implementation teams with hands-on lab operations in Arlington and occasional travel to Herndon.
• Ensure successful program deliverables through sound technical judgment and leadership of staff.
