Job summary

SixGen, Inc. in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software for government missions and critical infrastructure.

You will work with systems engineers, analysts, and end users to translate requirements into robust software solutions. You’ll write clean, efficient code in languages such as Python, C++, or Java; support integration and testing in lab and field environments; ensure security and performance in line with government policies.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain a US Government Security clearance up to Secret or TS level
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, or C
• Experience developing software in Linux-based environments
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and software lifecycle principles
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and Agile methodologies and tools
