Capgemini in Westlake, TX is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to modernize and migrate multiple IBM WebSphere-based applications. You will design and implement Java/Spring Boot solutions with Angular REST APIs, driving a modernization effort in a hybrid work model.

You will provide technical leadership, perform architecture and code reviews, mentor developers, and collaborate with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes while advancing CI/CD and DevOps

Qualifications

• Experience leading modernization of IBM WebSphere-based Java apps.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST APIs.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and drive architecture decisions.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization and migration of MDM apps from IBM WebSphere/legacy Java frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership aligning with enterprise standards and long-term maintainability.
• Design and develop enterprise apps using Java, Spring, Angular, and REST APIs.
• Guide middleware modernization including WebSphere migration and Tomcat adoption.
• Drive performance, resilience, security, observability, and release automation.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews and mentoring sessions.
