Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Java Fullstack Engineer to join our Westlake, TX team and help build scalable cloud-based applications. You will work with Spring Boot, Azure, messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and RESTful microservices while contributing to CI/CD and testing practices.

You’ll collaborate to design, implement, and optimize solutions, applying strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with java spring based frameworks and libraries preferably Spring boot.
• Working with public cloud and cloud based technologies with Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus.
• Building applications working with databases like Oracle, Postgres etc.
• Experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture.
• Understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.
• Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud based software applications.
• Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture.
• Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement via collaboration and willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native applications using Azure and related tools.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Write and run tests with JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.

• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
